Workers own their passport. Your career record belongs to you — not your employer, not FORGE. We will never sell your data.

1. About FORGE

FORGE is a digital skills tracking and verification platform for Australian trades workers, apprentices, supervisors, and companies. FORGE is operated by Forge Company Australia (ABN 64 749 148 495), a sole trader business registered in Australia.

By creating an account or using the FORGE platform (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who Can Use FORGE

FORGE is available to:

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to use the Service in the capacity you have selected.

3. Worker Accounts — Free Forever

Apprentice, labourer, and supervisor accounts are free and will remain free. There is no trial period, no credit card required, and no future obligation to pay for personal use of the platform.

4. Company Accounts

Company accounts are subject to approval by FORGE before access is granted. Once approved, company accounts are offered on a paid subscription basis. Pricing is communicated directly at the time of activation. FORGE reserves the right to decline or revoke company account access at its discretion.

5. Data Ownership — Workers Own Their Passport

Job records, photos, skill data, and all content logged by a worker constitute that worker’s personal career record. This data belongs to the worker, not to their employer.

Verification of a job by a supervisor constitutes confirmation of the worker’s activity and does not transfer ownership of that record to the employer, the company, or any third party.

When a worker’s employment relationship with a company ends, that company’s access to the worker’s records via the FORGE dashboard ceases. The worker retains full access to their passport.

6. Photos and Visual Evidence

Workers may upload photos as evidence of completed work. By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

FORGE accepts no liability for photos uploaded in breach of site policies, privacy laws, or employer rules. Responsibility for photo compliance rests entirely with the worker who uploads the content.
